Giving

“NAMI is helping challenge one of the greatest unmet needs in our society.”

Penny for your thoughts ?

What are your hopes and dreams for the future– for yourself, your family, NAMI and the mental health system? A penny for your thoughts? NAMI invites you to dream and hope and to tell us your thoughts. With your feedback, your wish could come true.

In 2007 we dared to dream as we developed our 5 year strategic plan. Our dreams came true. We have accomplished all we set out to do and more in just 5 years - nearly doubling the number of people served statewide.

Click here to see the 2007-2011 strategic plan.

And now it’s time to look to the future. It’s time to embrace hope and dream. We want to hear from you –throw a penny into NAMI’s wishing fountain and tell us your hopes and dreams for a better mental health system. Throw a few more pennies into NAMI’s fountain and tell us what more NAMI could do to carry out its mission.

Finally, please consider a financial contribution in any amount to help make those wishes come true. NAMI will use your donation to fund our efforts to make our collective hopes and dreams for a better mental health system come true. NAMI will use your donation to improve and expand our work to carry out our mission.

Your answers will help inform our next five year strategic plan. Click here to fill out a short survey.

MEETS ALL STANDARDS

NAMI Minnesota has been reviewed by the Charities Review Council, an independent organization that researches and reviews non-profit organizations in order to help Minnesotan's make informed giving decisions. The Council evaluated NAMI's accountability standards in four areas: public disclosure, governance, financial activity and fundraising.  After a thorough review of NAMI Minnesota's annual reports, fundraising materials, bylaws, board minutes, and financial statements, the Council concluded: "The National Alliance on Mental Illness of Minnesota (NAMI Minnesota) meets all standards of the Charities Review Council."
