NAMI Minnesota has nearly 4,000 members across the state who champion justice, dignity, and respect for all people affected by mental illnesses. People who join NAMI Minnesota or one of its local affiliates become members at the local affiliate level, the state level, and the national level.

Member benefits:
• Information on mental illnesses, treatment options, legislative efforts, research, educational programs, events, and advocacy opportunities.
• Receive quarterly NAMI Minnesota Advocate newsletter, and the NAMI Advocate - a news magazine published by the national NAMI.
• Membership includes all three levels of NAMI: local, state and national.
• Access to electronic list servers and NAMI Minnesota e-mail newsletters.
• Information on free educational programs such as Family-to-Family, Hope for Recovery, Children's Challenging Behaviors, Mental Health Crisis Planning, or programs on topics such as legislation, housing, employment, forensic issues, etc.
