Working to improve the lives of children and adults with mental illnesses and their families
Family Connections is a free, 12-week class for family members and friends of individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder or BPD taught by trained family members. Families gain insight and information to empower and support themselves and their loved one. NAMI will offer the Family Connections class in St. Paul and at a site in greater Minnesota still to be decided.
This class will help you to...
• Understand symptoms and behaviors associated with BPD.
• Build empathy, coping skills, problem solving and communication techniques based on Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
• Develop a support network of family members with others in similar situations.
Registration and interview required to attend class. Contact Marilyn at 651-645-2948 x131, or email@example.com for upcoming Family Connections Classes.
