NAMI offers free educational classes and workshops for families affected by mental illness. A list of classes that that are currently being offered and are open for registration can be found under "Classes."

NAMI Minnesota continues its efforts to improve public understanding of mental illnesses with its Mental Health First Aid and Youth Mental Health First Aid classes, its Suicide Prevention workshops, In Our Own Voice presentations, and Speakers Bureau. NAMI's MakeItOk presentations provide information about mental illnesses, combat stigma and offer helpful hints about how to talk about mental illnesses.
