Working to improve the lives of children and adults with mental illnesses and their families
Nearly gone are the 300 lockboxes that NAMI has been distributing in Ramsey County as a part of its suicide prevention efforts. Staffer Jody Lyons, who delivered most of the lock boxes herself, is shown at right. Each box contains two lockboxes and five sets of five NAMI booklets for parents and youth. Over 1,000 sets of the five booklets are also being distributed.
Both the boxes and booklets are going out to Ramsey Co. School Districts, children's mental health providers, school-linked service providers, and crisis teams. etc. as part of a grant from the Ramsey Co. Children's Mental Health Collaborative.
