NAMI Minnesota can help answer questions on navigating the mental health system. NAMI also offers many support groups for families and persons with a mental illness.
NAMI Connection, Open Door Anxiety Support Groups, Dual Diagnosis Support Groups, LGBTQ Connection, and WebConnect Support Groups offer support to individuals recovering from a mental illness.
Young Adult NAMI Connection peer-led support groups for ages 16-20, and 18-30 are now being offered.
Family Support Groups offer family and friends of individuals living with a mental illness an opportunity to meet with others who share their concerns, to compare experiences and to learn from each other. Also find the Spouses & Partners support groups on this page.
Parent Resource Groups help parents discover resources to meet the challenges of raising a child with a mental illness, learn coping skills and develop problem solving skills.
