NAMI offers many support groups for families and persons with a mental illness. NAMI support groups are free and there is no sign-up or commitment to attend. The groups are peer led by trained facilitators. If you want more information, please contact the person listed in your area.

NAMI Connection, Open Door Anxiety Support Groups, Dual Diagnosis Support Groups, NAMI WebConnect support groups and LGBTQ Connection offer support to individuals recovering from mental illnesses.

Young Adult NAMI Connection peer-led support groups offer support for ages 16-20, and 18-30.

Parent Resource Groups help parents discover resources to meet the challenges of raising a child with a mental illness, learn coping skills and develop problem solving skills.

Family Support Groups offer family and friends of individuals living with a mental illness an opportunity to meet with others who share their concerns, to compare experiences and to learn from each other.
