Family-to-Family Support Groups

Family-to-Family support groups provide ongoing support for families and friends of persons with mental illness. Support groups are scheduled for the following locations and times. Please call the contact person listed for more information.

Brainerd
7:00 p.m., meets the second Thursday of the month at Our Place, 606 Front St., Brainerd. For support groups for consumers or for family/friends contact Rich at 218-792-5881.

Brooklyn Center
7:00 p.m., meets the first Thursday of the month at Brooklyn United Methodist Church, 7200 Brooklyn Blvd (at Nobel). Contact Bob at 763-533-1729.

Cloquet

Minneapolis
6:30-7:45 p.m., meets the first and third Friday of each month at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church, 50th and Knox Ave. So. Groups for consumers and family members; for more information call Lee at 952-894-9109.

Minneapolis Partners/Spouse Support Group
This group is for spouses, domestic partners, and people who share child-rearing responsibilities with a person who has mental illness. It is held on the 1st Friday of the month (except January - 3rd Fri. instead and July - 2nd Fri. instead), from 6:30-8:30 p.m., at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church, 50th and Knox Ave. S., Room 394, in Minneapolis. For more information about the partners/spouse group call Susan at 612-308-1883 or email to: susan.onell@yahoo.com.

Owatonna
