NAMI Minnesota has two web-based support groups for people living with a mental illness regardless of diagnosis. Called NAMI WebConnect, the groups are provided online and in real time. The groups are led by individuals who live with a mental illness themselves and are doing well in recovery. NAMI hopes the groups will help support people who are underserved due to barriers like transportation, physical disabilities, age, lack of peer support groups in their community, lack of childcare, etc.
WebConnect Support Group - This group is for adults who live with a mental illness. Meets every Wednesday, from 8:30-10:00 p.m.
Young Adult WebConnect Support Group – This group is for young adults ages 18-30 who live with a mental illness. Meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month from 7:00-8:30 p.m.
