NAMI national’s CEO Mary Giliberti wrote, “Dr. Sophia Vinogradov, our 2017 honoree, directs a neuroscience laboratory that focuses on improving cognition for individuals with schizophrenia.  Her work has increased interest in the use of computerized brain training to facilitate brain information processing for people with psychiatric illnesses. She has been applying her methods to the early intervention in adolescents and young adults with schizophrenia… and has made significant progress in this field, leading to better lives for so many young adults.”
